The console will also be bundled with a copy of Bungie’s upcoming Destiny title, which is pretty interesting since before this, Bungie had worked on Halo which was an Xbox exclusive, so it’s nice to see that the PlayStation gets some love from Bungie with the upcoming Destiny game and the PS4 bundle. According to the image, the bundle is expected to be released on the 9th of September, although they did not mention how much it would cost.
The 9th of September is also when Bungie will be releasing Destiny, so if you were looking forward to a game that Activision is willing to spend $500 million on, then that is a date you’ll definitely want to mark down on your calendars. Destiny will also be the first game on the PlayStation 4 to support preloading, meaning that gamers can download the game ahead of its release, so on launch day all they’d have to do is play the game, instead of spending time donwloading it.
