Tablets are typically viewed as gadgets used by teens/adults. After all what do kids need with a tablet, right? However we guess with the way technology is being integrated into our lives now, kids might find tablets more entertaining than conventional toys, so if you’re looking to pick something up for your kid, VTech has announced a handful of tablets that interested parents could check out.
Starting with the InnoTab Max, this is a 7-inch tablet that comes bundled with Android apps that have been chosen by the VTech community that has also been deemed “safe” to download and fun to use, so parents won’t have to worry about adult or NSFW apps making its way onto their child’s tablet. Users will also be able to access over 200 safe and educational apps, and will also have access to 650 learning downloads.
There is also the InnoTab 35 Plus and the InnoTab 3 Plus, both of which are smaller than the InnoTab Max. With the InnoTab 35 Plus, it will come with WiFi and 15 built-in apps. Children will also be able to use the VTech Kid Connect that allows them to send text messages, photos, voice messages, drawings, and more.
Parents who are worried about the sites kids might stumble upon while surfing the web might be interested in the InnoTab 3 Plus. This tablet does not come with WiFi connectivity at all, meaning that what you see is what you get with the tablet, like 12 built-in educational apps and a front-facing camera.
