HTC and Verizon have a history of branded smartphone partnerships so it isn’t really a surprise that the One mini 2 is probably going to come with a different moniker on Big Red. A few weeks back we first heard about the Verizon HTC One Remix. At first it was believed to be a high-end smartphone but later it became clear that this is just Verizon’s variant of the One mini 2. A full photo of this smartphone has now leaked online, giving us the best look at it for now.
The photo comes from well known Twitter leaker @evleaks who has a near perfect track record when it comes to these things. What you see in the image is likely what you’ll get once this smartphone hits Verizon. Physically there’s isn’t any different save for Verizon branding on the front and the back.
Obviously since its a carrier variant after all expect a decent amount of bloatware. These are apps that come pre-installed on the smartphone and most of them aren’t really used that often by majority of the users.
The HTC One mini 2 has a 4.5-inch 720p display with a quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of onboard storage plus a microSD card slot, 2,100mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera and Android 4.4 with Sense 6.0 user interface. Its possible that the Verizon HTC One Remix might be released over the summer but so far there’s no confirmation from the carrier.
