It is interesting to note that LTE Bands 17 and 5, accompanied by GSM compatibility on 850 and 1900 does not point to a US carrier. Assuming that the SM-G906 will appear on AT&T, it ought to support bands 17 and 4, and if they were to make their way over to T-Mobile, then some amendments would need to be made to the GSM compatibility. Hence, it remains to be seen whether this model will hit the US or not, so we will have to be patient to figure it all out.
However, there is also another model number that has been listed for the battery which will see action in the device when released, where it is known as the EB-BG900BBK, and that alone does point to a possible Galaxy S5 variant, so what better device to associate it with than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime?
