Now as we have said in the past, there were multiple versions of the SM-G906 spotted in Korea where it would most likely be headed for multiple carriers, although the sighting at the FCC would suggest that the handset could be making its way stateside, and even if it wasn’t offered by carriers, it would be able to work in the country.
That being said, the FCC filing also shows off the dimensions of the handset where it will measure 72.5mm x 142mm which is same dimensions shared by the Samsung Galaxy S5, so at the very least we know how big it will be. The phone has been sighted a couple of times in leaked photos but from what we can tell, the phone really does resemble the Galaxy S5 in some ways, so perhaps the leaked photos could be the real deal.
The Galaxy F, according to the rumors, will be a QHD phone from Samsung. It is also rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset versus the Snapdragon 801 on the Galaxy S5, and could also be IP67 certified, making it both water and dust resistant.
