Of course, it does not really matter that the Oppo R3 holds that particular title in terms of thickness of a smartphone, especially when you take into consideration that the Oppo R3 will only support China’s LTE frequencies, making it pretty much useless elsewhere whenever one wants to access LTE connectivity.
Just how thin is this particular handset? Well, the measurements point to a 142.3mm x 70.4mm x 6.3mm form factor, which would also mean that the Oppo R3 is the thinnest handset from the company to date, too. Being so slim in nature, it would mean the R3 is unable to pack in the most features, but it is still capable of making it to the mid-range scheme of things.
Expect the Oppo R3 to arrive with a 5” 720p IPS display, run on a quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, have two cameras – an 8MP shooter at the back with a 5MP shooter up front, accompanied by 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, alongside Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice which is layered with Oppo’s very own ColorOS, all powered by a 2,420 mAh battery.
