Misfit Brings Fitness Tracking App to Pebble Users
The Misfit app I use with the Shine allows to track your daily steps, monitor your sleep, set activity goals, track progress and connect with friends to compare achievements.
Misfit develops its proprietary data science and sensor algorithms for the Shine, and it also makes it available to third party software developers and device manufacturers. Accroding to the company, Misfits fitness and monitoring capabilities can integrates with any product like applications, smartwatches and any other wearables.
It makes a lot of sense for Misfit and Pebble to partner, Pebble aims at offering a smartwatch platform for mobile developers.
