For those of you who love surprises, here is a pleasant one to mull over. Microsoft’s announcement of the Surface Pro 3 did see the Core i5 version to be made available this June 20th, which is today, while the i3 and i7 variants are tipped to ship at the end of August. Well, it seems that those of you who have placed a pre-ordered for either the i3 or i7 models, you will be pleased as punch to hear that Microsoft has decided to make you wait a whole lot less, simply by moving up the ship date to August 1st.
This revised shipping date is a full month ahead of the expected schedule, and anyone who has placed an order for the i3 or i7 models will definitely have a reason to smile, adding to the fact that today is Friday, and it is time to let your hair down at the end of the day to day in order to usher in yet another weekend.
Of course, as mentioned earlier this morning, if you have no patience to wait it out for a couple more months for the i3 and i7 models, there is always the option to pick up the i5 model right now, where you can choose from the $999 and $1,299 models that will arrive with 128GB of internal memory and 4GB RAM or 256 GB of internal memory and double the amount of RAM at 8GB, respectively.
