Logitech Type-S Keyboard Case Announced For Galaxy Tab S

As you might have heard, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S only a couple of hours ago. The tablet comes in either an 8.4-inch model or a 10.5-inch model, but if you were thinking about the larger model, you might be pleased to learn that Logitech has announced that they will be releasing a keyboard case accessory for it.

The Logitech Type-S keyboard case appears to be your standard keyboard case. It will help protect your keyboard will introducing a keyboard for it, so if you didn’t feel like using the onscreen keyboard to type up long emails or documents, then the physical keyboard might be a more comfortable alternative.

The keyboard itself is Bluetooth enabled so it will pair with your Galaxy Tab S via Bluetooth. The case will also support different viewing angles, so you can prop it up at different angles that will be more comfortable for you. The case will also be made from water-repellant materials, so if you’re out in the rain, it will help protect it from getting soaked, although we should note you probably shouldn’t dunk it in water.

Logitech also claims that the accompanying battery for the keyboard will be long-lasting and have estimated about 3 months of use on a single charge, but we guess this will also depend on how you use it. Priced at $99.99, it will be made available later this month.
