The good news is that if this sounds pretty frustrating to you, you might be in luck because according to a report from MacRumors, Apple is expected to issue an update to iOS 7 in the form of iOS 7.1.2 in the coming weeks. The update is expected to address the issues mentioned above, as well as some other issues that might have gone unnoticed.
Other potential fixes includes iBeacon connectivity and some other security problems. The update to iOS 7.1.2 is also said to fix a glitch in the lock screen where certain apps could be accessed, even if there is a passcode that has been set. Supposedly the update is now pending carrier approval and could be released by the 27th of June.
So if you’re particularly bothered by these glitches and bugs, then you might want to keep your eye out for next week which is when the update is expected to be released.
