The introduction of Google Now has certainly made the lives of certain road warriors who simply cannot live without their Internet-connected mobile devices easier and more structured when used correctly, with various updates for it introduced that will even understand your relationship connection even better. Well, since Google Now is not exactly an old dog, so to speak, it can still learn new tricks – and one of the latest would be the ability to show you quick links whenever you run a music search by Google Now.
Of course, this is not to say that the standard issue search results would not appear, but it makes sense to remove whatever hassle there is to close Google Now, opening up your music app, perform a quick search for the song, artist, or album, followed by playing it. All it takes now would be a single, quick tap, and you will then have your music app of choice launched in double quick time.
While this is not exactly the most groundbreaking of news, at least it goes to show how Google listens to their users, and are constantly on the move to make the Android a whole lot more intuitive and efficient for the end user. This particular feature remains limited to folks living in the U.S. only at the moment, with no word of a release elsewhere just yet.
