In this particular FCC filing, it does show the Google Fiber TV box to arrive with hardware specifications such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c/n, 10/100 Ethernet, MoCA, Bluetooth and HDMI 1.4 connectivity. In addition, we now know that the model number for the Fiber TV box would be GFHD200, and other than that, virtually nothing else is known about the hardware at this point in time, although the final product would most probably not veer too far away from what is in existence at the moment.
Chances are pretty high that the Google Fiber TV will run on Android as the operating system of choice, accompanied by the rest of Google services to boot. Not only that, there is also a chance of a standalone Android TV console to be announced in order to enter into the market that is currently seeing the likes of Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV dominate.
