The Earin, according to its creators, has been dubbed the world’s smallest wireless earbud. As you can see in the photo above, the earbuds themselves are pretty standard, but take away the wires and suddenly you have a much more smaller and compact device. It weighs 5grams and will sport a plastic casing and a silicon tip that will fit in your ear.
It will also pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth and will come with a 50mAh battery, which according to its creators will allow for listening periods of up to 3 hours per charge. There is also an accompanying storage capsule with a 100mAh battery that will help recharge the earbuds when not in use.
Now we can’t speak to the audio quality of these earphones and whether they may or may not be of audiophile level, but if you’re interested in getting your hands on one, you’ll have to head on over to Kickstarter to help back their project. The Earin project is about halfway through its goal and with 37 days to go, there is a good chance it could be successfully funded. So, any takers?
