If you are going to be all decked out in wearable technology this summer, with Google Glass being at the forefront of your proud collection, then you might as well look good while doing so. Diane Von Furstenberg, a name that is associated with fashion more than tech, has been working alongside Google and its Google Glass, and the fruit of this partnership has resulted in a brand new “DVF” collection of Glass options, where among them include five more new frames as well as eight different shades that Glass explorers will be able to customize accordingly.
Those living in the US will be able to obtain these new designs from June 23rd onward, through Google’s very own site as well as from +NET-A-PORTER although it remains to be seen just how much more money you will need to fork out ahead of the $1,500 that is required to let you obtain the beta device in the first place.
Apart from that, Google’s very own Titanium range, too, will be made available on that day itself via the +MR PORTER online store. Will the likes of Oakley and Ray-Ban step forward with other additions to cater to those who want something with more of a sporting edge to it? Only time will be able to tell, and as Diane says, “technology is your best accessory.”
