Yesterday a listing was spotted on Steam’s database which hinted that Capcom might soon confirm Dead Rising 3 for PC. The game was a launch title for the Xbox One. Folks who wanted to stick to their PCs for gaming and didn’t want to fork out hundreds of dollars for a console were out of luck. The listing sparked hope that this popular title would make its way to Valve’s distribution service. Ahead of E3, Capcom has now officially confirmed that Dead Rising 3 is coming to the PC.
It wouldn’t be the first time that a Dead Rising title lands on Steam. The first was an Xbox 360 exclusive but its sequel and a revamped re-release were both made available on Steam for PC gamers. So there was always hope that Dead Rising 3 would some day become available as well.
According to Capcom, Dead Rising 3 for PC will be available this summer both via Steam and on disc. It promises “fully optimized visuals” for wide screen displays and upgraded textures for in-game object, backgrounds and characters.
Moreover the publisher also confirmed that Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will hit the 3DS this winter. No news on a Wii U version as yet but Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be making its way to the 3DS as well.
