That being said, the good news is that if you were looking forward to the next Call of Duty installment, you might be pleased to learn that the game could be arriving on the Wii U. This was spotted by the folks at the Call of Duty forums, who found a listing on E3’s website which showed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, listed with Wii U support.
While Activision and Sledgehammer Games have not officially revealed the platforms the game would arrive on, we guess some have presumed that due to the Wii U’s lack of popularity that developers would skip it. However with Call of Duty: Ghosts released for the Wii U, we guess Activision will be continuing their support for Nintendo’s platform with Advanced Warfare.
Now this is hardly official and there is always the off-chance that the Wii U listing was made in error or added as a typo. The other platforms listed for support includes the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. We guess more will be revealed at E3 2014, so do check back with us then for the details.
