AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Hits The FCC

It seems that AT&T will expand its stable of Samsung-branded tablets with yet another model in the near future, which will be known as the SM-T337A as seen in the FCC’s database. This would mean the recently introduced 12.2” Samsung Galaxy Note Pro as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will be able to enjoy the company of one more model, and I do not think that three’s a crowd in this matter. The SM-T337A is also widely speculated to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.

Why AT&T? Well, for starters, the Samsung SM-T337A does come with support for AT&T’s LTE bands, not to mention the all too obvious AT&T logo that has been etched onto the back portion of the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 would measure 209.8mm x 123.8mm, making it match the proportions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.

From what we do know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, it will sport an 8” display at 800 x 1280 resolution, is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, alongside having a 3MP camera at the back. These happen to be found on the international variant of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and so this unconfirmed, FCC approved model would most probably share similar specifications, apart from its LTE capabilities, of course.

Do bear in mind that Samsung SM-T337A has already received certification by the Wi-Fi alliance, citing that this tablet will run on Android. There is also a SM-T337T model that has been listed in the Wi-Fi alliance’s database, pointing to a possible T-Mobile variant for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 tablet as well.
