A few months ago, Ubisoft officially confirmed the next Assassin’s Creed game, Unity, which was revealed in its official capacity following a leaked screenshot of the game. The game itself has yet to be released and apart from the settings of the game and the possibility of 4-player co-op mode, not much else is known about it.
However thanks to a photo obtained by the folks at Access the Animus, it seems that at least one of the pre-order bonuses has been revealed. As you you can see in the photo above, it appears to have been taken inside a retail store, where they have also hung up a poster that reveals that pre-order bonus in the form of a mission called “Chemical Revolution”.
In fact the pre-order bonus is listed as #2, which has us wondering if there could be more than one. Well given the numbering we can assume that there will at least be two, but could there be more than two? Could there be retailer-specific pre-order bonuses? Well we guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.
Ubisoft has since confirmed that they will be announcing five games at E3 2014. At least one of those titles will be Assassin’s Creed Unity where Ubisoft will presumably provide more information about the game, what we can expect, and hopefully a release date (the post above suggests the holiday season of 2014). Either way their press event will be held on the 9th of June, so check back with us then for the details.
