Is it me, or is Android 4.4.3 KitKat about to take center stage this particular week? We have heard of it arriving on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, in addition to making its way across a slew of Nexus devices, and now here we are with Motorola announcing that their family of compatible Moto devices too, will be on the receiving end of Android 4.4.3 KitKat, fresh out of the oven thanks to the folks over at Google.
Just like how the soak test for the Moto X on T-Mobile has proven itself to be a reliable precursor of what is to come, it has been confirmed that Moto X T-Mobile users would be able to enjoy Android 4.4.3 KitKat this week. Apart from that, Moto G users who happen to have picked up the smartphone online in the U.S. (and that would also include the souped up Moto G 4G LTE) as well as at retail in Brazil.
As for the rest who decided to settle for the Moto E in the U.S., you will find yourself not being left behind in the next major Android update, which is a good thing considering how the Moto E is not exactly a smartphone that sends pulses racing when one speaks of it. The latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat update would deliver an improved dialer alongside a new interface and new colors in order to further enhance consistency and usability, not to mention bring along with it the normal slew of stability, framework, security fixes, and enhancements to the power profile capabilities.
