KPN intends to debut the LTE-A service this coming July 1st, and what good is the presence of a service if there is not going to be any kind of hardware available shortly afterwards? I suppose that would mean the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will stand in good stead, with the alleged smartphone displayed touting a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Apart from that, earlier rumors pointed to a 5.3″ 1440 x 2560 resolution display, while the display on the alleged Galaxy S5 Prime points to a 5.1″ size with 1080 x 1920 resolution.
This does seem to be a step in the wrong direction, considering the Galaxy S5 Prime is said to be an even higher end version of the Galaxy S5, which means it is not going to be able to muster much of a challenge to the LG G3.
The alleged Galaxy S5 Prime is said to run on a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, where it is accompanied by an Adreno 405 GPU. Carrying the model number SM-G901F, the handset does look like the Samsung Galaxy S5, which means it is in conflict with images of the Galaxy F which is touted to be a premium version of the Galaxy S5. Hopefully Samsung will be able to clear all confusion regarding the device in due time.
