Alleged Samsung Galaxy F Photo Leaked

We have been hearing many rumors about Samsung creating a high-end, QHD version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 handset that was launched not too long ago. Some have called the device the Galaxy S5 Prime, some have recently called it the Galaxy Alpha, and some have even referred to the device as the Samsung Galaxy F, a new lineup from Samsung, with the F denoting “Fashion”.

Well whatever its name will be, @evleaks has recently posted a photo which is allegedly that of the upcoming handset. The photo does not tell us much in terms of hardware, since we guess you can’t really tell the screen resolution from a photo alone, but its brushed metal back seems to be in line with the rumors that the device could feature a metal body, versus plastic which is a material that Samsung has favored in all of its previous handsets.

As far as design is concerned, the photo seems to be more or less similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S5, except that it packs a brushed metallic look on the back, along with the heart rate sensor on the back of the phone. Then again, the Galaxy S5’s design wasn’t too bad, so we guess if you didn’t mind that design, then perhaps the Galaxy F’s design could be up your alley as well.

In any case it has been rumored that the phone will be seeing an announcement later this month, whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information. In the meantime what do you guys make of this? Was it what you expected?
