The upcoming successor to the Nokia X smartphone which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year, looks set to be unveiled tomorrow, after a rumor of it arriving in the coming weeks hit the news wires not too long ago. It was in May that we spotted the alleged Nokia X2’s hardware specifications on a benchmark (as the smartphone is called at the moment), accompanied by rumors of dual booting capability. Well, it seems that even more has been revealed today, where the leaked image above shows off the back of the purported Nokia X2 prototype, where it was then compared to the back of a Nokia X.
So far, speculation abounds that the upcoming Nokia X2 will arrive with 1GB RAM to help it remain more current, with a Snapdragon 200 processor running things from underneath the hood. It does seem that the Nokia X2 will boast of a front-facing camera alongside a rear camera with flash to boot, but do not expect this to be a powerhouse smartphone in the first place, because it does not look as though it was designed to be that in the first place. Hopefully the teaser that we looked at a few days ago will have some bearing with the Nokia X2.
