When it comes to drones, it does look as though the drone market is starting to get a little bit more crowded than expected, as everyone does seem to have an idea as to what the “perfect drone” is like. Having said that, if you happen to be an adrenaline junkie and would like to capture your action shots from different perspectives without having to rely on a helmet mounted camera, then this particular Kickstarter project might just be your cup of tea. Known as the Airdog, this is an action sports quadcopter drone that will follow you with the help of a GPS signal, keeping up with you whenever you are active.
No doubt it will be able to extend the boundaries of making your very own movies as you adventure around in a far more creative manner than ever before. After all, with the entire world getting more and more absorbed with selfies and the like, why not jump aboard the bandwagon, using an extreme drone to get the job done?
You can control the Airdog from your wrist-mounted controller, where you inform it of the time to launch, arrive at an altitude of your choice before it sniffs you out like a good hound. When you are done with your activity, just instruct it to land, and it will do so, like a dog who has attended obedience classes. It will have a battery life of 10 to 15 minutes on average, so do keep an eye on that.
