A few days ago, we reported that thanks to a leaked photo, the rear shell casing of the iPhone 6 was leaked online. Now thanks to additional photos posted by dreamerJimmy on Weibo, we now have more photos of the alleged iPhone 6 to look at. Based on these photos, it seems to be more or less in line with what we have seen so far.
One of the interesting things about the rear shell casing is that the Apple logo appears to be cutout, which might suggest that Apple could turn it into a glowing Apple logo like they did with their MacBook laptops, which we reckon could also be used to alert users to notifications, like how some Android phones come with LEDs to symbolize unattended notifications.
Of course this all speculation but it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch of the imagination, right? In any case the photos also shows off the curved edges of the iPhone 6. This is also in line with earlier rumors and leaks, all of which points towards a design that is somewhat similar to the iPad Air/mini.
Also as you can see in the photo on the left, it looks like the bezels of the iPhone 6 have been shrunk quite a bit, giving us the impressive that the display is larger than it really is, but at the same reducing the size of the phone which should allow for more comfortable one-handed use. There’s no way of telling how accurate any of these photos are so do take it with a grain of salt for now.
