This is why we can’t say we’re too surprised to have learnt that ZTE has announced that the Nubia X6 has managed to be sold out in under 10 seconds. To be more specific, ZTE claims that the Nubia X6 sold out in an impressive 9.8 seconds. This would put them in competition with Xiaomi who also has the uncanny ability to sell out their initial stock of phones in a matter of seconds.
Unfortunately ZTE did not provide any specific numbers in terms of sales, so we’re not sure if they sold 1 unit in 9.8 seconds, 1,000 units in 9.8 seconds, 10,000 units, and so on, so we guess it’s not really a fair assessment to compare them against Xiaomi who managed sales of 100,000 units in a little over a minute.
The ZTE Nubia X6, for those who might have forgotten, packs a 6.4-inch Full HD display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.5GHz with 3GB of RAM, 32/64/128GB storage options, dual SIM support, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 13MP front-facing camera, and a sizeable 4,250mAh battery. ZTE expects the next batch of Nubia X6 handsets to be available come 27th of May in China.
