If you happen to be rocking out to a Motorola Moto X smartphone while being a T-Mobile subscriber, then here should definitely be some welcome news for you to hear. It seems that Motorola has in store an update that ought to whet your appetite and cause you to lick your lips in anticipation, where a new software update for the T-Mobile version of the Moto X is on its way. This bit of news came about via an email which was being sent out to members of the Motorola Feedback Network, where these members were invited “to participate in a preview of a new software release.” In a nutshell, we are talking about a soak test here.
Soak tests happen to be a small band of users testing up a particularly new update, guinea pigs to to speak. There are obvious upsides to this, which would mean your handset is ahead of the curve compared to others who are not in on the soak test, but on the other hand, any bugs in the soak test would only affect this small group of users. Ah well, you can’t have your cake and eat it, too.
Motorola has not shed too much light on what these soak tests are all about, but considering the Moto X already received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in February, could this latest soak test include new bug fixes, or perhaps some other feature that will be introduced? Only time will tell.
