The first Xperia ZL was originally announced alongside the Xperia Z, but considering how the Xperia Z has already picked up a couple of successors without the former having even a single handset to continue in its footsteps, it is nice to see that the Xperia ZL2 is finally announced.
Hardware specifications of the Sony Xperia ZL2 would include a 5” 1080p Full HD touchscreen display, a 20.7MP camera at the back with LED flash and 4K video recording, a 3MP front-facing camera, a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, and a 3,000 mAh battery, with Android 4.4 KitKat in tow as the operating system of choice. Apart from that, it will also dance along to the IP58 standard when it comes to water and dust resistance.
