However while Sony made the announcement earlier today, they did not mention when the camera would see a release, but thankfully if a pre-order listing on Amazon is anything to go by, we can look forward to the camera’s release on the 10th of June. Amazon has put up pre-orders for the Sony A77II and according to the listing, Amazon expects it to be released on the 10th of June.
The camera will be priced at $1,198 for the body-only, and for those interested in the 16-50mm lens that will be bundled with the camera, expect to pay $1,798 for it. This is pretty much the same price that Sony announced earlier today. Just as a quick recap for those who might have missed the announcement, the A77II is the latest DSLR from Sony.
The camera will feature a brand new 24.3MP sensor, 79-points auto focus system with 15 cross points, and ISO sensitivity that can be extended from 16,000 up to 25,600, hopefully without too much noise. The camera will also feature WiFi and NFC connectivity that allows users to transfer photos wirelessly and will also be able to capture Full HD 1080p video at 60fps.
