Despite the rumors leading up to the Samsung Galaxy S5’s launch, it seems that there was no launch of a Galaxy device sporting a QHD display, although that will supposedly be changing soon with the launch of the upcoming Galaxy S5 Prime, or so the rumors claim. We have been hearing about the device for quite a while now and according to the latest rumors, it could see a release in June.
Apart from its rumored QHD display, not much else is known about the phone or how it will look like, although recently it seems that the handset was spotted on a Korean website. The website in question is the Olleh TV website which lists the device as on the devices compatible with its sevices.
While the Galaxy S5 Prime name is not mentioned explicitly, it does refer to a SM-G906K which many believe to be the Korean version of the handset. Unfortunately the design of the device was not revealed either as the handset appeared to be sporting a Spigen case, hiding the design. Samsung has typically resorted to such tactics to prevent the leak of their product designs before its launch, so this hardly comes as a surprise.
In any case like we said earlier, the Galaxy S5 Prime is pegged for a possible launch in June, so we guess until we hear otherwise, we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, who else is looking forward to it?
