Touted to succeed the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini from last year, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 mini has been seen in a user agent profile (UAProf) on Samsung’s website, in addition to a rather famous benchmark, although the specifications of these two handsets do seem to be different in one way or another, which does suggest that we are in variant land.
The UAProf points to the model SM-G800A, while the benchmarked handset was known as the SM-G800H. These two could be different variations of the same device, considering how the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the model number SM-G900.
It is said that the SM-G800A that was seen in the UAProf could be headed for AT&T, where it has a 720p HD touchscreen display and a 2.3GHz Qualcomm processor. As for the SM-G800H, this variant sports a 4.8-inch 720p HD touchscreen display, an 8MP shooter at the back that does Full HD video recording, a 2MP front-facing camera, a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivty, GPS support, and Android 4.4 KitKat in tow.
