This seems to be in line with an earlier rumor that suggested that the phone would pack a QHD display, so we guess this would “confirm” it. Their source has even revealed to them that the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a 5.7-inch display, which is the same size as the current model, the Galaxy Note 3.
This is interesting because over the past few years, Samsung has increased the size of its Galaxy Note phablets by 0.2-inches. The first Galaxy Note was at 5.3-inches, followed by the Note 2 at 5.5-inches, the Note 3 at 5.7-inches, so by that logic, the Note 4 should be 5.9-inches. However it is possible that Samsung does not want the Note 4 to encroach upon their Galaxy Mega lineup, so perhaps they’re capping the size at 5.7-inches.
Other than that, not much else was revealed about the device. It has been rumored that it could feature the same water and dust resistance like the Galaxy S5, and could either be powered by Samsung’s Exynos hexa-core chipset or the Snapdragon 801, although the Snapdragon 805 would be preferred. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Does a 5.7-inch QHD smartphone sound appealing to you?
