Samsung Battery Pack Sports Faux Leather Finish Too

It does look as though the folks over at Samsung have this kind of unspoken fondness for a faux leather finish, as evident in the past examples such as the Samsung Ativ Book 9. Well, the other offerings from Samsung that sport such a finish include the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), and it seems that accessories from Samsung will follow in the same direction, too.

Case in point, the EB-PG900B, which so happens to be a Samsung-branded external battery pack that will feature a faux leather and stitch finish. This particular external battery pack boasts of a capacity of 6,000mAh, which ought to do its bit to fully juice up any smartphone that has long “died” in terms of battery power.

This Samsung battery pack will also pack an LED indicator as well as a retracting microUSB cable, measuring 5.51” x 2.93” x 0.43” while weighing all of 6.1 ounces. What do you think of a fake leather finish at the back of a mobile device or an accessory? One thing’s for sure, it does increase the amount of grip, so to speak, which would make it a whole lot more difficult for the battery pack to slip out of your hands.
