The latest game released by Rockstar is Grand Theft Auto V. The game was met with critical acclaim and positive reviews, but it looks like Rockstar is not resting on their laurels as it seems like they have a new game in the works. This was confirmed by Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two, during the company’s investor’s call.
According to Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, he mentioned that Rockstar has a game in the works for next-gen consoles, like the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. At this point it is a little unclear as to what we might be able to expect. Could this game be GTA 5 for the PS4 and the Xbox One?
While that is definitely great news for next-gen console gamers, it isn’t necessarily a new game per se. Some are speculating that perhaps Rockstar could be reviving older titles that were once announced but eventually shelved, like Agent, while others are hoping that we could see a sequel to Red Dead Redemption whose compatibility with the PC was recently spotted.
In any case we’re not sure if these titles will be announced at E3 2014, since there has been speculation that Take-Two could take the stage at Sony’s E3 2014 press event, but either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more info, but in the meantime what game do you think Rockstar could be working on?
