Well the good news is that if you were still holding out at the possibility of Red Dead Redemption for the PC, you could be pleasantly surprised. According to a recent discovery by the folks at NeoGAF, there have been references made to the game arriving for the PC. The game has been recently sighted on Microsoft’s Official Compatibility website where the title was spotted with support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.
Of course just because it has been sighted doesn’t necessarily make it a done deal either. Perhaps Rockstar was just testing things out and the game might not be ready anytime soon, but like we said, with the title being four years old, Rockstar has had plenty of time getting the game ready for the PC.
This news follows our previous report in which more than 700,000 gamers have petitioned Rockstar for a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The game was launched in 2013 for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, but unfortunately there has not been any word regarding a PC version of the game. With previous GTA titles being released for the PC, many hoped that Rockstar would give it the same treatment, and here’s hoping that we won’t have to wait another four years for it.
