Those who are rocking to the consumer version of Microsoft’s cloud storage service, OneDrive, would be pleased as punch to hear that they are on the receiving end of a slew of improvements, where among them include a spanking new Android app update. Apparently, version 2.5 of the Android app will now enable users to share files as well as folders with invites, through the sending of a link, or to send files to another app.
Apart from that, there are also ways where one can move and sort files from within the app along with another method to pick multiple files to download to an Android device. Those who have access to the OneDrive website will also be able to notice some changes made if they are keen enough. The thumbnails for photos happen to be larger than ever before, and users are able to view just about any videos they have in the All Photos section.
Not only that, folder covers too, can now be customized using a specific photo as well as throwing in new items to previously shared image collections. Last but not least, Microsoft has included a method for users to publish all videos that are stored on OneDrive directly to a Facebook page, in the same manner as that with photos. [Press Release]
