Nokia Roadrunner Device Rumored To Be In The Works

It seems that Nokia has a new device in the works that could be announced in the near future. This is according to @evleaks who revealed that a certain Nokia Roadrunner was on its way. Unfortunately not much is known about the Roadrunner, but some have speculated that this could be a wearable device that Nokia has been working on. That and the Roadrunner codename seems to suggest some kind of fitness device as well.

A Microsoft patent has recently revealed the company’s plans for a smartwatch-like device, which is why some have taken it to mean that the Nokia Roadrunner could be a wearable, but then again the patent was for Microsoft, not Nokia, so it is more than likely a reference to something else entirely.

However we have also heard the rumors that Nokia could be planning a wearable device of their own. Earlier this year prior to the Microsoft BUILD conference, there were talks that Nokia could unveil a wearable, although safer to say that did not happen. However we doubt that Nokia plans on sitting by the sidelines and watching other companies rake it in, right?

Either way it might still be a bit too early to well, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding this Nokia Roadrunner device, but in the meantime what do you guys think it could be? Could we be looking at a Nokia wearable? Or could it be a smartphone or tablet?
