The Nikon 1 S2 has been rumored an announcement this week and sure enough, Nikon has not disappointed. Nikon has recently announced the Nikon 1 S2, the successor to last year’s Nikon 1 S1. The camera will join Nikon’s lineup of Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras, so if you planning on getting a mirrorless camera, perhaps the Nikon 1 S2 could be worth your consideration.
The Nikon 1 S2 will feature pretty fast photo capture at 20 frames per second, which coincidentally enough is the same speed offered by Nikon’s other mirrorless cameras, the Nikon 1 V3 and the Nikon 1 J4. It will also pack a 14.2MP sensor and will be able to capture both videos and Full HD 1080p videos at the same time, so you’ll never have to miss a moment. It will also be powered by Nikon’s EXPEED 4A image processing engine.
For photographers who require wireless connectivity, the Nikon 1 S2 will have such a feature, although this will come in the form of an optional wireless mobile adapter, rather than having it built into the camera itself. This is a bit disappointing but if you need the feature, at least you know you will be able to get it via an optional accessory.
The Nikon 1 S2 will also come bundled with a kit lens in the form of the 1 NIKKOR 11-27.5mm. it will feature an aperture of f/3.5-5.6 and will be priced at $449.95 together with the camera. For those who wants a zoom lens, there will be a two lens kit with a 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 lens which will be priced at $699.95. The camera will also be available for purchase this June in a variety of colors, ranging from black, white, red, and yellow.
