It was not too long ago when we talked about the new Yahoo Mail app on the iOS platform, and here we are with the yang to that yin. We’re talking about a new Yahoo Mail for Android, where it too, will be able to ensure that all the information your require would be at your fingertips, ranging from personalized information to real-time news. It does not matter if you are going to check email, read the news, to perform a search, or even check out how the weather is going to be like – you can do so on the same place itself, sans the trouble of switching between apps.
Not only that, the new Yahoo Mail will also boast of two features that will remain exclusive on the Android domain – that is, the ability for the user to swipe left or right or tap the relevant icon in the upper right-hand corner of the display in order to seamlessly make that transition between your inbox, news stream, and Today.
Apart from that, the Today icon will also show off important information such as the local weather, sports scores, news headlines, popular videos and photographs, courtesy of a deeper and new Flickr integration. Those who are interested can pick up the new Yahoo Mail for Android in Google Play already, while the News and Yahoo Today experience will eventually arrive on all supported devices over the course of the coming days.
