And of course, where a custom ROM developer is concerned, their worst nightmare would be the presence of locked bootloaders. Motorola has somwewhat gained a reputation for enforcing such locked bootloaders in their products in the past, but where the Moto E is concerned, it would bodes well for the masses, since Motorola has just announced that the Moto E will be part of its Bootloader Unlock program. Just as its name suggests, the latter would enable users of Motorola devices to unlock the bootloaders of their devices in a jiffy, and easily, too.
