Motorola DROID Ultra And DROID MAXX To Get Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update

At the end of last month, we did talk about how the HTC Droid DNA from Verizon has finally received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update after far too long, and here we are with more news on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for those who happen to be rocking to the Motorola DROID Ultra as well as the Motorola DROID MAXX (as seen above).

Apparently, both of these handsets are set to gain a bump from their Android 4.4 KitKat update that was released in December last year. As per standard practice for majority of the Motorola branded handsets out there, those who use a couple of DROID handsets have been invited to be part of a soak test prior to the update being disseminated.

The entire point of this particular soak test is to make sure that majority of the users would not experience any untoward issues at a later point in time, and should Motorola run into any problems right now, they can at the very least halt the update process, and return to the drawing board to make sure that everything is fine and dandy. Once the soak test is completed, Android 4.4.2 KitKat will begin to make its way to both smartphones.
