Motorola Alert App For Moto G LTE And Moto E

Earlier this morning, we did bring you word that Motorola might have just changed the face of the entry level smartphone market by introducing the Motorola Moto E to the masses, while the highly rated Moto G which targets the mid-range smartphone market has been given a bump in its internal specifications in order to obtain LTE connectivity so that you can enjoy blazing fast Internet speeds wherever you go, as long as you remain within the vicinity of the proper signal strength. Both releases have been accompanied by the release of the Motorola Alert app on Google Play, which is a novel and faster method of sending an alert to friends and loved ones in an emergency.

Right now, Motorola Alert is available only for the Motorola Moto G LTE and the new Motorola Moto E, where this particular app would allow users to quickly connect to emergency services, all the while alerting specific contacts using but one tap of the finger. Whenever a user with Motorola Alert running enters or leaves certain pre-determined areas, one can set it to alert a list of contacts. Heck, you can even opt to designate selected areas such as home, work, or school.

In this manner, those who are on the receiving end of such alerts will be able to tell just when the user of the app arrives or departs, and from specific locations to boot. Apart from that, one can also set the Motorola Alert app to ping specific contacts with the most recent location using GPS from time to time. There will be an update down the road which will allow this app to run on the vanilla Moto G and the high end Moto X.
