Meizumart Sells Meizu MX3 Smartphone

Meizu of China has just launched an international online shop which would enable customers from just about anywhere in the world to be able to drop some cash and make the Meizu MX3 smartphone theirs. This is a flagship model that will arrive in white and black shades, although the former is conveniently out of stock at the moment. The black Meizu MX3, however, is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, where it will retail for $399, $429, and $496, respectively. Heck, it even comes with free shipping as well as a 12-month warranty thrown into the mix for good measure.

Meizu did mention that the Meizu MX3 can be yours “without invitation”, which is in a way taking a potshot at the OnePlus One that will be launched using an invite system. Of course, the OnePlus One has far superior hardware to the Meizu MX3 by virtue of it being a whole lot newer to the market, not to mention cheaper. Well, just to refresh our memories, the Meizu MX3 does come with a 5.1” display at a rather strange 1080 x 1800 pixels resolution, an 8MP shooter at the back, Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor, 2GB RAM, and a 2,400 mAh battery.

Expect the Meizu MX3 to be powered by a custom FlymeOS that will be based on Android Jelly Bean, although do expect a KitKat update to arrive from this month onward.
