Back in March earlier this year, we reported that Nintendo had announced a limited edition bundle of Mario Kart 8. What so special about this bundle? Well the bundle would basically come with the game itself along with a Blue Shell figurine. Unfortunately at that time, the bundle was announced only in Europe, which had many fans around the world understandably upset.
Well the good news is that if you’re living in New York, or knows someone living in New York, you’re in luck because the Nintendo World Store has recently announced that they too will be carrying the bundle, although given its limited edition nature, we’re sure it will be snapped up pretty fast.
Now the bad news is that the Nintendo World Store does not appear to have online or phone orders, meaning that if you don’t live in or near New York, you’d have to get someone to buy it for you or hope that it pops up on eBay or Craigslist with a reasonable price tag. Nintendo World did not mention how much they will be pricing the bundle, but hopefully it won’t be too expensive.
In the meantime, gamers can also get their hands on the Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle, assuming that they don’t have the Wii U to begin with. The game is pegged for a release on the 30th of May.
