Unfortunately apart from that, not much else is known about said device. Given that the LG G Flex wasn’t designed to be a flagship smartphone, we guess it makes sense that LG might not have planned on an annual release. One of the unique features of the phone was its curved display, which was more pronounced than other curved displays we have seen in the past.
The display was also flexible, meaning that if sat on, the phone could be flattened out without damage to the device, although LG has since discouraged this practice since it could lead to permanent damage. Assuming this rumor is true, we have to wonder if Samsung’s plans for a Galaxy Round successor could also be released in 2015, unless Samsung plans on beating LG to the punch by releasing one later this year.
What do you guys think? Are any of you looking forward to a new LG G Flex or Samsung Galaxy Round to begin with?
