lg-g2-knock-codeIt was in March this year that we brought you word that the LG G2 is set to be on the receiving end of the new Knock Code from LG, which ought to open up a new world of added security to your LG G2 smartphone without complicating things even further. Well, we are pleased to say that those of you who have been waiting for the past couple of months need not extend your wait any longer, as the Knock Code update has finally hit the LG G2 – or at least, in stages.

The Knock Code happens to be a two to eight tap pattern which you would think up of yourself in order to unlock the handset, and it can work even when the display is turned off. The screenshot that is seen on the right happens to hail from the international model of the LG G2, which is the LG D802. Granted, in March this year, LG did mention that the Knock Code update will arrive at different times to different countries, so you might want to display a little bit more patience if your smartphone has yet to receive this update, good and proper. For those who have already gotten it, how has your experience with Knock Code been so far?
