Already there have been all sorts of rumors about the Apple iPhone 6. We’ll have to keep up with them for the next couple of months because we can’t expect the company to reveal anything about its next smartphone in advance. Usually some of these rumors are spot-on which is why many people religiously follow them. It is believed that the iPhone 6 might be released in September. A German carrier is directing call center representatives to tell customers that they should stay with it until mid-September because that’s when the iPhone 6 release is going to take place.
Deutsche Telekom’s support staff are being told that Apple’s next generation iPhone will go on sale come September 19th. They’re to use this information to get customers to stay with the carrier.
It is certainly unusual to think that Apple may have told a carrier partner about the release date this far in advance. Presumably this may be an educated guess on DT’s part. One can see why they’d make this guess. Apple traditionally releases new iPhones in September. It did that last year so there’s little reason to believe as of now that its going to stray away from tradition.
Once again Apple is expected to launch two new iPhone models this year. Rumor has it that the 4.7-inch model will hit the market a bit earlier while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will be released in September. None of this has been confirmed by Apple so take it with a grain of salt.
