In the past few days we’ve been seeing our fair share of iPhone 6 leaks, or alleged leaks rather. One of those leaks was provided by Italian website Macitynet and it seems that the website managed to get their hands on yet another image, this time showing off the alleged iPhone 6 mockup compared next to the Samsung Galaxy S5.
As we can see in the image above, the iPhone 6 mockup is slightly smaller than that of the Galaxy S5, which is to be expected since the rumors are suggesting that the iPhone 6 (or at least one of the models) could sport a 4.7-inch display. This would make it 0.4-inches smaller than the Galaxy S5 in terms of display.
The photos also compare the thickness of the iPhone 6 to that of the Galaxy S5 and the images above shows that assuming this is the final design of the iPhone 6, it does appear to be noticeably thinner than the Galaxy S5. The side profile also shows off the repositioned sleep/wake button which has been placed on the opposite side of the volume buttons and it seems that Apple has not changed the placement of the SIM card either.
That being said there’s no telling if this truly is the final design of the iPhone 6, although based on what we’ve been seeing and hearing lately, many are in general agreement that this could be the design. So far we admit that we like what we see although we guess we’ll probably have to wait until the later part of the year for Apple to make their official announcement, so until then take it with a grain of salt.
