In exactly one week from today Huawei is going to unveil its 2014 flagship, the Ascend P7. Over the past few months we have heard a lot of rumors about this device. Recently even some purported pictures of the handset were leaked online. While some of them were quite blurry and didn’t quite offer a good look, today’s leaked press renders show off the device in all its glory.
The renders have been leaked by well known Twitter leaker @evleaks, who has a very good track record when it comes to these things. Judging by the renders Huawei has focused on keeping the Ascend P7 as slim as possible, as per rumors it may only come in at 7mm, and the device may very well be quite lightweight as well.
As far as its specifications are concerned the Huawei Ascend P7 is expected to have a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a 1.8GHz quadcore HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor under the hood. 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash are also rumored. The device is expected to have an 8 megapixel front camera which would certainly make it a powerful selfie machine.
No word as yet on pricing and availability. Its unclear if the Ascend P7 will make its way to the U.S. Huawei will probably have that information for us come May 7th.
