One of the models will come with an Intel Celeron 2955U processor, while those who feel that they need something with a whole lot more processing muscle would not be able to go wrong with the Intel Core i7-4600U processor. HP themselves do seem to be pretty modest about the Chromebox range since announcing the product earlier in 2014 though.
As for the hardware specifications of the HP Chromebox, we can more or less expect it to arrive with (regardless of processor speed) 16GB of internal memory, up to 8GB RAM, an SDXC memory card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, WI-Fi support, a HDMI port and a DIsplayPort, and a quartet of USB 3.0 ports. It seems that the Celeron model will cost somewhere in the region of $200, while the Core i7 model will most probably start from $600 upward. [Product Manual]
