hp 7 plusTablets come in a variety of different sizes and prices, but if you were in the market for something small and affordable, HP has you covered in the form of the HP 7 Plus Android tablet. The device was announced and launched in Europe a few months ago, but it looks like the device has finally made its way stateside where it is selling at a very affordable $100.

That being said, the HP 7 Plus isn’t exactly the most powerful Android tablet around, but if you wanted something affordable that could get the job done, then perhaps the HP 7 Plus might be the tablet for you. In any case if you were wondering what you can expect for your $100, here’s the specs of the device.

The HP 7 Plus will feature a 7-inch display (surprise) with a resolution of 1024×600. This is pretty low even by today’s standards, but if you’re not fussed by sharpness and all that, then this should be a non-issue. The tablet will also be powered by an Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1GHz. It will also be accompanied by 1GB of RAM.

The tablet will come with 8GB of onboard storage and will support microSD cards, so you can expand the memory if you wish. However HP has also given users 25GB of free lifetime storage with cloud storage service provider, Box, so that’s extra 25GB in the cloud if you want. There will also be a 2MP rear-facing camera, a 0.3MP front-facing camera, WiFi with Miracast wireless display support, a 2,800mAh battery, and will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
